Practitioners awarded the Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture
In 2017, in response to the overwhelming demand from acupuncturists for more advanced training in treating fertility, I launched Fertility Support Training. Having developed a range of courses to help other acupuncturists develop their knowledge and skills, I brought these together into an Advanced Level Diploma taught by myself and other specialists in the field.
The Diploma course is only open to practitioners with at least five years of experience in practice (or equivalent knowledge) and requires them to participate in five modules including:
- causes of infertility such as PCOS and endometriosis
- reproductive immunology and recurrent miscarriage
- supporting IVF, IUI and other Assisted Reproductive Techniques.
Having the Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture is a sign that a practitioner has successfully completed the course. However, the Diploma is not a one-off piece of training. To maintain their Diploma accreditation, a practitioner must continue their learning each year through continuous professional development courses. Only practitioners who have completed the Diploma and maintained their level of study may display the logo on their websites and marketing materials.
